Bored with Winter and wishing someone, somewhere would organize a hot sauce crawl?
For National Hot Sauce Day (Thursday, January 22) Foolazul will have limited edition sauces at stores in Marquette and Skandia (Michigan). Each store has its own unique flavor. Try out a sauce you may never get to taste again (and buy a bottle of it, if you’d like). These stores will carry the flavors for as long as the limited supply lasts….
Peace Pie Company (Marquette): Chocolate Blackberry Poblano (mild)
Chocolay Ace Hardware (Marquette): Japanese Shishito (medium)
DeVooght’s General Store (Skandia): Smoky Not Hot (zero heat), and also Dill Pickle Jalapeño (which is a fundraiser for the Marquette Women’s Center’s food pantry)
Michigan Made (Marquette location): Sweet Roasted Green Habanero (hot)
Lakeshore Depot (Marquette): Chocolate Ghost (very hot)
Cafe Bodega (Marquette): Smoky Green Sriracha (medium)
Spice Merchants (Marquette location): Maharaja Curried Serrano (medium)
Cal’s Party Store (Marquette) will not be doing a sampling but will have this flavor available for purchase: Smoky Tomato Ghost (hot-very hot)
Marquette Food Co op: sampling of our 7 regular sauce flavors from 11am-1pm & 3:30pm-5:30pm
